In the area to the east of this Sushie falls victim to one of the kids traps, and is caught up in a tree. Just use the search command and they open like a gate. In the area above the village you run into a path of bushes that block your way. North of the village is where you have to go to find them. You'll have to go back to the village for more help, and when you arrive there you find out the children are missing. At the end of the path is the entrance to the volcano, but you can't get in because of a large gap between the path and the entrance. Hidden there is the Jammin' Jelly item, which restores 50 FP. To make things a little easier on yourself, why not use Bombette's explode move (C-down) to get a powerful first strike on them! After defeating the spear guys go behind the giant-size tree to the right of where you were fighting. Sure enough, there are a few spear guys bothering him. No doubt he's in more trouble, so go pay him a visit down the path on the east side of town. Talking to a few of the villagers reveals that Kolorado has gone into the thicket of a jungle path that ends halfway to the volcano. Here you can take a nap, buy some items, and save if you like. Still moving towards the east you encounter the heart of Yoshi's Village. Star Piece: Use your butt stomp move to uncover a star piece in front of the bird statue on the upper piece of Yoshi's three islands in this area. He's looks just like a chubby Yoshi with a leaf on his head.

Talk to the village leader sitting on one of the three small islands offshore. Keep exploring towards the east and you run into Yoshi's Island. It's all the way to the right in between a helicopter flower and a set of two large stones. However, the very last tree in this area holds a star piece. Star Piece: All of the trees in this area will drop coconuts to the ground if you hit them with your hammer. You immediately run into Kolorado who is being attacked by some no good Jungle Fuzzies. Head south first toward the sandy beaches. These are a few of the many things to be found at Lavalava Island, so always search every tree and plant you come to. There are helicopter plants that whirl you in the air when combined with your spin move, there are plants that give you hearts, and if you knock coconuts from trees you can use them in battle. Once you reach Lavalava Island it's best to familiarize yourself with all the new surrounding. For helping him with his problem he'll take you to Lavalava Island. And, to make things even easier, use Watt's Power Shock attack to paralyze him, so you can attack him with your jump attacks too.Īfter the fight the whale squirts you out the back of his blowhole. As long as you use Watt and have your quake hammer attack equipped, you don't have to worry about not being able to hit the little guy. The main problem in fighting him is keeping things lit (you are in someone's belly, after all, so there are no lights) and reaching the guy with your attack. This little fuzz ball doesn't have too many hit points at all. He always jumps in the same places, so just stand here his shadow lands and you can fight him. He's jumping all about the inside of this whale's belly, but catching him is a cinch. In the deep of his belly you run into the caterpillar that the ornery fisherman was set on using for bait. Inside his belly it is very dark, so use Watt to light things up. He has a stomachache and will kindly ask you to hop inside of his belly to check things out. Walk out on top of him and stomp on his back. Look carefully, though, and you can find a whale sitting off the edge of the lower pier. There you find Kolorado is in the same fix as you are. Finally, when you're ready to go to Lavalava Island, move toward the southeast part of town.
